At each end of the new Gotthard Base Tunnel in Erstfeld and Biasca, SBB has commissioned the construction of two identical maintenance and intervention centres (MICs). The Erstfeld MIC was executed by Implenia acting as the total contractor.

Construction of the new portioning and cooling facilities at the premises of Bell Schweiz AG in Zell (Lucerne, Switzerland) involved planning and executing a major construction project – including complex operating facilities and building services – over a five-year period, during ongoing operations and without a single day of interruption.
