Ever-increasing user expectations, higher demands of society and stricter requirements of the Confederation, cantons and municipalities spur us on every day.

The constant growth and increasing complexity of supplying urban centres and conurbations calls for innovative construction methods so that people and traffic are affected as little as possible during the construction phases of essential infrastructures. After all, without supply lines for electricity, water, oil or gas, urban life would collapse within a very short time.

Pipe jacking and microtunneling

With trenchless construction methods such as pipe jacking or microtunneling, we are able to construct underground service tunnels and pipelines with internal diameters of 500 to 3,200 millimetres with pinpoint accuracy. Above ground, only one start and one target shaft are required. We can carry out all procedures with our own equipment. This minimises interfaces and your order is completed quickly, flexibly and cost-effectively.

E-Powerpipe®

In the course of the energy turnaround, approx. 2,000 km of new high-voltage lines will have to be built in Germany in the coming years, with a large proportion of the lines being laid as underground cables. Implenia was the first tunnelling company to use the E-Powerpipe® method to lay underground cables without trenches.

The E-Powerpipe® method enables cable protection pipes with lengths of over one kilometre to be laid underground quickly and safely. The trenchless technology can be precisely controlled and used with low coverages and has great advantages over the HDD.

Horizontal & Target Drilling

In order to connect existing and newly created service channels to the surrounding buildings, it is often necessary to create precisely targeted connecting lines.

With our machine technology we can realise such sewer or building connection drillings with a drill diameter of up to approx. 280 mm.

Drilling lengths up to more than 20 m are the rule here.

Displacement piles

We are your partner for low-noise full or partial displacement piles with diameters ranging from 420 mm to 620 mm and vibration-free piles in displaceable soil for pile loads up to 5000 kN.

Large bores

Large bores

In-situ concrete piles (cased or uncased), constructed with rotary drilling or grab equipment, form the basis for pile foundations of all kinds in the diameter range from 700 mm to 2500 mm. Boreholes for large filter wells are used for water supply or support large construction projects by lowering groundwater levels over large areas (diameter 800 mm to 1800 mm). We also realize vertical shaft lowering for horizontal filter wells.
