TG Marktoberdorf
Short description
The repair concept for the renovation of the reinforced concrete components, protection of the support and wall bases, provides for the principle "K" (cathodic corrosion protection) according to RL-SIB 2001 of the German Committee for Reinforced Concrete (DAfStb).
The project
The property is located in the center of the town of Marktoberdorf.
The underground car park is divided into two parts (city and savings bank) and partly overbuilt with residential and commercial buildings and a parking lot.
Building dimensions of the underground car park:
- City: approx. 2000 m² with 72 parking spaces, built in 1990/91
- Sparkasse: approx. 700 m² with 15 parking spaces, built in 1984/85

A further useful life of the underground car park of at least 20 years is required.
For the repair of the support and wall bases, activated titanium strip anodes (width 15 mm, current output 5.3 mA / running meter) embedded in 15 mm thick coupling mortar (repair principle K according to DAfStb RL - SIB) were used.
