Modernisation of the metering infrastructure and upgrade to individual room control

Short description

For the ownership of the first construction phase of the Chämleten residential building in Hünenberg See, Tetrag replaced the meters in 93 apartments due to component discontinuation. It also retrofitted individual room control in order to improve comfort and energy efficiency.

The project

In the Chämleten residential building in Hünenberg See, the existing Siemens Synergyr system required replacing because it was not possible to supply replacements for the existing devices. Synergyr is a combined device that integrates energy measurement with heating control for each house/apartment. The proposed solution was to implement individual room control in addition to heat measurement and reading. This means that the temperature in each room can now be adjusted individually.  A timer program can be used to define the temperature for each room depending on the time of day using a smartphone. This upgrade to  individual room control resulted in a significant increase in comfort. Over the long term, it has been possible to reduce heat consumption by 30%.

Services in detail
