Short description

In parts four stories high, the project is situated atop a public parking garage.

The project

The longitudinal side of the existing adjoining building was built on. These façade elements were also clad with closed formwork consisting of cover strips.

Services in detail

• New wood façade 

• New wood ceiling panels in parking garage 

Challenges

The slatted wood façade is hung from wooden brackets mounted to the building`s exterior walls.  This required special attention be paid to the building envelope`s vapor barrier.
