Foundation stone laid for the fully let Elefant building in the Lokstadt

Today, the foundation stone was laid for the Elefant building in the Lokstadt. Winterthur’s first “2000-watt site” is continuing to take shape with the Elefant building and the other residential developments already under construction – Tender and BigBoy. The Lokstadt has started to come alive with the arrival of the first Crocodile inhabitants.

Opening ceremony Haus Adeline Favre

On Friday 28 August, the House of Adeline Favre was officially opened together with the Canton of Zurich, the ZHAW and the SISKA, adding a unique building to the Lokstadt. Up to 2000 students and 300 employees of the Department of Health will be learning and researching at this location from mid-September onwards. January 2021 will also see the opening of the "Thetriz" outpatient health centre for the people of Winterthur.

Opening of the E134 in Norway - A celebration for people, cars and trout

On 3 July Implenia Norway was able to celebrate the handover of the important section of the E134 road between Damåsen and Saggrenda. The new route improves the flow of traffic through the town of Kongsberg and shortens the travel time to the west coast of Norway.
